Bonjour à tous !
Le solstice n'apporte pas que l'été ! Steev Kindwald vient illuminer nos oreilles pour un concert unique à Paris le vendredi 8 juillet 2011 !
Il partagera avec nous ses dernières découvertes musicales sur les nombreuses guimbardes, doubles-flûtes, flûtes obliques, etc. qu'il a menées auprès de maîtres-musiciens Indiens, Pakistanais, Laotiens, Cambodgiens, Thaïlandais ...............
Venez donc nombreux au Kibélé, 12 rue de l'échiquier à 21h, pour découvrir ou re-découvrir ses talents ! (flyer A6 en pièce jointe)
Ce lieu sera aussi pour nous l’occision de prendre un verre, déguster un plat Kurde avec Steev avant et après après le concert.
Attention : nombre de place limitées ! réservations vivement conseillées via mp, en indiquant votre nom et prénom et le nombre de place souhaité. Règlement sur place : 8 euros.
Steev animera aussi plusieurs ateliers : deux sont pour l'instant prévus et ouverts à la réservation (1 à 10 personnes possible)
- perfectionnements à la guimbarde (harmoniques précises, rythmes) > le mardi soir 20h-23h, 5 juillet : 3h, 30euros
- fabrication de guimbardes en bambou > le jeudi soir 20h-23h, 7 juillet : 3h, 30 euros
D'autres ateliers sont possibles à la demande (nahr, alghoza, bilangdao, etc.) : n'hésitez pas à me contacter dès aujourd'hui pour convenir d'une date (même pour un cours particulier) du 4 juillet au 14 juillet.

Un descriptif (en Anglais, je suis désolé) des possibles ateliers avec Steev !
1.) Double flute Alghoza of the lower Indus Valley techniques, tuning, maintenance, history, trance patterns and folk songs/raga.
2.) Breath techniques on flute obliques---such as the Narh or Kaval;
Utilizing muliphonics (playing the first and second octave simultaneously), circular breathing, rhythmic circular breathing and rhythmic circular breathing using the tongue and/or the voice.
3.) Techniques on metal Jawharp such as Morchang and Moorsingh;
Trance patterns on Morchang that are melodic as well as rhythmic for a more truly traditional sound---these melodic patterns will be demonstrated on both double flutes Alghoza and Narh as well for a more clear understanding.
Rhythmic patterns for Moorsingh South Indian 'harp --- beginning and advanced rhythms depending on the students level-- plus breath accenting techniques essential for a more clear and spectacular sound!
4.) Techniques on Genggong string pulled 'harp;
Basic playing techniques and precise harmonic control of the notes for a clear, concise sound. Also ensemble paying in a hocket pattern for a sound like a pond full of frogs!
5.) How to make a bamboo Jawharp;
Techniques of cutting bamboo with a fine line for a clear sound and tuning techniques. Both finger pushed and string pulled models can be taught----over 10 different models can be taught, form simple to very advanced. Students must have a well sharpened knife. please.
